Everything runs locally from a built-in dataset.

No environment variables are set, so Bearing is serving an in-memory demo user — no login, no external services, and changes reset when the server restarts. To go live, set NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL and NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY (plus Plaid and Anthropic keys for bank sync and real AI).
